The Irondequoit Town Board named Patrick Russi to the Town Justice seat vacated by Hon. Vincent Dinolfo who was elected to the Monroe County Court last November. Let’s all welcome Pat as our newest Republican official in Irondequoit. The seat Pat is filling has a term that ends December 31 of this year. So he will need to run a campaign this fall to be elected for a full term. Please show your support for Pat as he enters his second campaign.

Read more about Patrick on the Irondequoit Republican web site at: http://www.irondequoitrepublicans.com/patrussi.htm

Irondequoit Democrat tries to find fault with the current Republican administration but in doing so applaudes them. Continue reading →

While poking around the Irondequoit Democrat’s web site I found a page that’s entitled “Share the View”.

http://www.irondemocrats.org/p/share-view.html

This page has a disclaimer that says:

However they fail to post the author of the only article posted on that page. This clearly says to me that the author is a coward to reveal his/her real name or that the author of this page is the same author who writes everything else on the entire site.

What is laughable about this article is that it claims that the recently (2009) fired Democrat Town Supervisor and two Board members are thoughtful and contemplative in that they didn’t “rush to judgment” on their proposed apprenticeship proposal. So this unknown author, who the democrats disavow any relationship to, is trying to tell us that when a ground swell of opposition is mounted against a truly un-American proposal that causes them to back down that the act of backing down is thoughtful and contemplative. Talk about spinning the facts. I suspect that they realized that Irondequoit residents aren’t as stupid as they thought they’d be when they saw this proposal to be simply another money laundering tactic. Yes, money laundering!

First you pass a law that requires you to hire only certain types of people, in this case union workers. Union workers tend to be Democrats, who pay union dues. These dues go into the campaign funds of Democratic politicians via the union’s PAC; thus laundering your tax dollars to finance their campaigns all approved by your local Democratic lawmaker. Hey wait! Maybe they are thoughtful, because it does take a fair amount of thoughtfulness to conjure up such a scheme, but I digress.

The article goes on to congratulate the current Republican administration for not making a rash decision on the offshore windmills but gives all the credit to Vinnie Esposito and Bob Duffy who implied they’d like to see proposals before moving forward. So follow the logic now, a Democrat said they wanted to see a proposal before making a decision. And because Republicans said the same thing, ergo, the Republicans followed the Democrats lead. Got it? Makes sense to me, NOT!

Not once in the whole article did the author cite one example of the town’s Republican administration “rush to judgment”, only that when it did exercise caution that it was attributed to the Democrats. Now I see why the author didn’t sign his name. The logic and moronic conclusions he makes can only be attributed to a weak minded political hack.
